About Me

I am a high school physical education teacher from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.  Feeling too old to partake in the sports I had successfully engaged in as a teenager, at the age of forty-five I took up triathlon.  After almost quitting my first race due to a panic attack in the swim, I have worked through several injuries to win my age group at several Ironman branded events throughout North America.  I have also finished in the top ten at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships on two occasions.  Having earned the distinction of being an Ironman All World Athlete, I’m in my second year as a member of the Elite Squad of the number one ranked amateur triathlon club in the world, Wattie Ink.
